Parker and Shanley met through mutual friends during their senior year of college. Over the next couple of years, they would see each other here and there and would connect over their shared love of music, travel, and doggos, (Shanley even pretended to like beer back then to impress Parker).

Parker swore back then that he couldn't possibly have a girlfriend because he was going to open a brewery someday and needed all his capacity to prioritize his dream. So despite obvious chemistry, they continued to develop their best friendship for several more years. During that time they went to countless concerts, traveled and adventured together, and even went to pick up Luna Lovegood Loudermilk together.

Somewhere along the way, Parker stopped pretending that he and Shanley weren’t meant to be and they made it official!

Amongst all the other things the couple had in common, is their shared fear of commitment. 6 years of dating did the trick though and the couple finally decided to commit to forever!
